Background: Was a former Cat 2 road and track cyclist during the late 70’s and 80’s, during that time participated in National events including the 1984 Olympic Tack Trials. His resume included District medals in Track for sprints, pursuit, kilo and point races. As a 26 year old senior, placed first in the unofficial Master 25-30 Criterium Championships in Wisconsin. Left the sport for a 15 year hiatus after finishing in the top 8 in three events at Master National Track National in Seattle, Washington age 37. Spent most of that time watching his kids competes in Track and Field events, Nationally and HS States. Presently they are both racing in College. Reapplied for his license in 2005 and results as listed below
